Blue Heart is a part of a larger series of my senior thesis work. For this series, I created self portraits using a pinhole camera that I completely hand-stitched out of felt to transport the viewer into a dreamlike world alongside me. I began this project wanting to create the softest photos I possibly could which was why I decided to make a camera out of fabric. This was to show the viewer how I experience the world due to my dissociation and show the places I often find myself; these places are inside my own head instead of in reality.
