Everyday utilitarian items such as cups are typically seen as no more than its intended use. I made this cup by scratching on the surface with rugged and aggressive marks turned these cups into vessel full of personal grief and longing. What was once a simple everyday form, became a piece of my emotions that suddenly I could hold onto.
