This piece is a multi color relief print printed using reduction. It is a part of my larger body of work from my senior thesis in 2021. My work revolves around death and the conversation (or lack there of) that we have about death. The subjects of my work are ghosts, their individual features are hidden underneath sheets making them anonymous and relatable to any viewer. Death is a universal experience that we all face and having relatable subjects is important. The subjects in this piece are deep in conversation sitting in a diner. Placing them in a normal and mundane environment takes away the context of ghosts, death, and afterlife not being something scary but instead something normal.
